Do you consider cigar smokers "smokers"?

What I really mean is do you put them in the same bucket as cigarette smokers in general? I smoke an after dinner cigar almost daily but don't really consider myself a smoker. I never smell like smoke at work, don't smoke in public (other than a place like Churchills) etc.

I smoke crack but I put non-smoker on my welfare application and I haven't had any issues.

Do you disclose as a smoker on your insurance apps?
Because you are.

To smoke a fine cigar is truly the emperor of all luxuries.

That's like being gay- it just takes one in the mouth.

Figured it would illicit an interesting and diverse response from the kale eating homos and the whisky drinking good ole boys. I actually wanted the O/Ts opinion.

Depends on the insurance company. Some plans are lenient about occasional cigar smoking. However, I suspect daily cigar smoking would qualify someone as a smoker for insurance purposes.

While not nearly as egregious as the "their/there/they're" abomination, the word you are looking for is "elicit"
sieg heils!

Just pointing out underwriting is what it is. Contact with PCP's/etc is all part of the game. Disclosing to an MD is disclosure you want to follow on insurance apps.

I would think that the health risks are just as significant, especially for a daily cigar smoker.

One night my roommates and I were baked and decided to smoke some copenhagen in a bong. Protip: It's not a good idea.
