Yes. St Joseph Notre Dame building. Where sisters of Notre Dame lived for many years in first half of 1900's.

The building was abandoned and used for storage for the school when i was in 8th grade. One morning a friend and I were sent across the street in a thunderstorm to
Retrieve a bookshelf to bring to main office.
We were only ones in building because everyone else was at church for the school mass (always tried to find ways out of going) and when we walked upstairs to get bookshelf all was well. We moved a pile of books off the shelf and started walking away with it. When we got to staircase we both felt a cold air sensation, and looked towards a stained glass door of the room we just came from and saw a shadow go across it. All the books we had taken off the shelf we got then got knocked over. We dropped the shelf and ran away as fast as possible.
After telling our story, and a few other similar stories from the past, including doors slamming without warning (which happened to a group of girls a few grades above me) school had building torn down about 3 years later.

I was born in what the old timers say "veil over my eyes". I've seen and heard spirits all my life. I've started threads about it before. I have a few very recent experiences.

Last week, my daughter was watching tv in her bouncer. I had just cleaned up the living room so I know there was nothing on the floor. I was in the other room and heard a thump. I looked in the living room and it was a shoe beside her on the floor. No way it was there before the thump.

Just yesterday a toy that was in my oldest step daughters room somehow appeared on my ole lady's Chrysler town and country drivers seat. She hadn't been out the house all day and the toy was in her room. How the toy made it from inside the house tongue drivers seat......

I believe in them. My family has had experiences, and my friends had experiences. One was on photo, one on video. Clear as day.I could tell a long story about all 3 occasions but it's late. I will tell them tomorrow if topic is still floating around

Think of all the opportunities over the past 175 years of historical photography and 100+ years of audio recording that IF there were truly ghosts on this planet we might then have some valid record or images of supernatural beings.

We don't.

Are they too magic to be recorded or photographed but humans can hear or see them?

Well, that wouldn't be logical now, would it?

When the incident experienced by me and 3 family members happened, i had a flip phone. I actually had a digital recorder in the room but never thought to grab it. I think I made it an hour or two without blinking

Ghosts are "real" for the people who never could move past the fairy tale book stage of childhood

Yes. There is way you too much evidence out there to support it. Not to mention my own encounter a few years ago. People will believe what they want though.

Have had a few experiences in my life. Only one bad the rest good or neutral. You're not going to make a non-believer open their mind to other possibilities with just a story though.

No.

I find those ghost hunter type shows to be incredibly obnoxious, as well.
