I've often wondered this but after watching a few work the other day it made sense. A guy was skating and a girl was not. They both were hustling back to get the next order. The girl was jogging back. So it seemed it was a first come basis on who brings the order out. The guy with skates was easily getting more orders . ....
So to answer your question, to get more deliveries that hopefully translates into more tips from you baws.

I am with you. I try to tip at least 25 percent on all orders.

I always tip something at Sonic. The one that really is a question to me is call in and pick up pizza (or really any food). They dont really do anything more than a burger joint counter service but there is a tip line on the receipt. I usually still give them something but maybe not north of 20% like a regular restaurant.

I'm still amazed at this place. This same topic has been posted 50 times and we still end up with a four page thread about broke dicks debating if they need to give a high school kid $1 to deliver food to their fat asses sitting in their vehicles.

Only if they are bringing the order to me and I am not using the window. If it looks like a guy who is trying to work his way through school, he gets a $1. If a cute white girl, she gets tipped upon how cute she is, usually one or two dollars. Anything more is reserved for those who are a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. Ugly, not happening.

I'm more concerned with Sonic and their lack of receptacles to put your trash in without getting out of the car. Hell, I can't even open up my door to get out of the truck because of the narrow stalls to walk to one of their barrels. They use to have little wire baskets to put your trash in years ago.
