Is she nice to you at least?
If a woman is appreciative of what I get her, is nice and easy to live with, let's me do what I want largely, and is interested in my shite at sufficient levels, I'd definitely give her a pass on crappy gift giving.
But if her lack of gift giving stems from her general thoughtlessness when it comes to you, sounds like a problem.

I think it's time to put eggs in her shoes and tell her to beat it.

I would love a flesh light, but she'd never give me one. She takes very good care of me. Even with a flesh light the only times I would ever use it is when she's away.

I didn't get my wife anything, and she doesn't mind. We just agree that Valentine's Day has become too commercialized, and that going out to eat and the like should be done randomly...not just because society deems it necessary on a particular day

Sounds like a logical wife you've got there. Don't let her go.

you buying gifts, flowers, and she is providing your gift in the bedroom
Just seems like a fricked up paradigm to me. I'd never want to be in a situation where I have to work for sex. Isn't it supposed to be a mutual pleasure? I'd want my wife to have sex with me because she enjoys it, not because she's using it to reward me for what she deems is correct behavior.
I guess this is one of the reasons why marriage scares the frick out of me in the first place. That whole carrot dangling system just breeds resentment.

My wife usually gets me a book or two, and is more willing to get weird in the bedroom.
Works for me

I don't expect anything but she will usually get me some candy and such. No big deal.
