My wife's have significantly faded over time (only been 2 years). I barely notice them now and they don't really bother me at all. She stayed lotioned up as well, and didn't really get them until around 35 weeks.

She didn't use any type of lotion on her belly while she was pregnant?

You fricked if it grosses you out. Either you gonna have to look at it or shell out money to fix because stretch marks are there for good otherwise.

Oh, and quit being an arse.

My son is going to be 32 next month. When his Mother was pregnant, I put on some pounds, also. Those stretch marks have never gone away.

Best answer.

My wife birthed 3 children, did not use lotion on her belly, and has no stretch marks. Genetics surely plays a major role here.

If I was her, I'd take a bullwhip to your back, then get on here and ask if your scars will ever go away. Jackass.

I didn't realize genetics play such a role in stretch marks. They are nasty to look at. Guess I should get a look at her mother's belly before I put a ring on it. Problem with that is you usually have to date for quite some time before you see her momma in that capacity. Could be a great deal of wasted time going though that routine.

I was about to say, I thought you wanted a bunch

My friend that got her tummy tuck/boob job combo seems to finally be fully healed. Poor girl looked miserable when she was in town though. Never realized how painful recovery is for a tummy tuck.
