Do guys still wear earrings?

Growing up in the 80s and 90s, all the cool guys and badasses had at least one earring in their left ear.
Other than the occasional NFL running back, is it still considered cool to have pierced ears as a dude?

The gauging earrings were pretty popular when I was in high school 10+ years ago, but that is a totally different kind of look. Don't know if the kids are still doing that.
