DKE arrested for pushing guy down a flight of stairs at fraternity house

So what poster is this? Yes, it's a wall of text but the story doesn't make sense without the whole thing.
Well, I found the root cause.

A former fraternity brother and student at LSU was arrested Wednesday after LSU police said he pushed another student down two flights of stairs during a fraternity preview event on Aug. 17.
Police said the victim volunteered to tour potential fraternity members around all the houses before the incident. While in the Delta Kappa Epsilon house, the volunteer went upstairs to make sure no potential members went upstairs, which would be a violation of the rules. Part of his job as a volunteer, called a Rho Alpha, was to make sure that no one broke the rules.
When the volunteer reached the third floor, another man confronted him about what he was doing upstairs, according to a police report. After explaining, the volunteer turned to leave, but was confronted by another man, later identified as Nicholas Daniel Lorusso II, who pushed him down the stairs, the report says.
As the volunteer got up, Lorusso again pushed him down the next set of stairs, cutting and fracturing his hand, the report says. The volunteer needed 13 stitches in his hand and will need surgery to repair the fracture.

Third floor of the DKE house is the chapter room. Nobody goes up there except for meetings. A locked door prevents entry.

Wasn't there a thread just a few weeks ago about DKE's survival on campus? How it should've been kicked off long ago but they apparently have some rather influential alumni?
