Shiiiiit. The day my now ex-wife told me she wanted a divorce, I didn't shed a single tear. Just said, "OK," then went out and celebrated. I was so so happy to be single in my mid-20s and to be able to go out and whore around. That was 20 years ago and I still haven't shed a single tear, happily remarried now. Don't get me wrong, I had some breakups that left me scarred, that I still haven't completely recovered from, and likely never will. But my divorce wasn't one of them.

It does.. It really does. Hang in there. You need to Rea h out to people and stay busy.. Don't sit alone and think about what is happening or might happen. You will be very happy again one day. It will not always be like this.

Is the OT littered with divorced men? Why do these threads always go for at least 5 pages?

Yes it eventually does.

I make as much now as both mine and my ex wife’s salaries together back then, my kids can’t stand her new husband and only wanna hang with me more, my GF is 15 years younger than my ex. I have a newer vehicle.

There are some cons like now my ex is a nurse practitioner so she makes good $$$$ but still not as much as me LOL.

live for your kids. request that you get them 1/2 the time. that is the new norm. don't let her lawyer tell you otherwise. in 07, the paternity law was passed basically stating that, if a dad wanted his children half of the time and can accommodate them without incident, he will get them half of the time.

and yes.....it gets better. get laid. no shite.

Hey Bud, some of the comments are ruthless. Let me tell you it does but it takes a long time. Yes, you could find another woman but right now, you need to get some help. Maybe find someone to talk to on a weekly or monthly basis.

If kids are involved, try not to turn your kids against her. Find a way to make time for the kids as best you can.
