Pretty big news as Disney try's to keep your park experience outside the realities of daily life.

Wouldn't be surprised if by the spring they turn the metal detectors into a "magical portal" to keep with the theme.

Pretty sad day in America when Disney, of all places, is having to do this.

It actually quite amazing that nothing big has ever really happened in Disney.

I have a safe full of guns, and we go to Disney every year...

So no more pirate guns at Pirates of the Caribbean, no more Boba Fette blasters...?

Disney will make billions from Star Wars merchandising, selling guns and blasters....

It's pretty hypocritical if you ask me....

It's call "Star Wars", not friggin "Star Everyone is in a Safe Place" for Christ sake...

There's tons of merchandise that has to be pulled. The Pirates and Buzz Lightyear gift shops alone had tons of toy guns. It's really crazy.

They absolutely will but it won't from their park sales. It's really insignifcant in the grand scheme of Disney World. There was only a few different gift shops that had toy guns. We were just there and the most popular toy almost all the kids had were those automatic bubble guns. They were sold in every gift shop and even on the carts in the pathways.

They are just now getting these? Astroworld in Houston had them when it became a hangout for tPOS which ultimately led to it closing down due to low revenues.

I don't think that's the case here. This is the guy they arrested a few weeks ago for trying to sneak in a loaded revolver. He's a 36 year old lawyer from Miami. How do you profile to stop someone like this?
