You need to visit more parks. Magic Kingdom is fun, but so are the other parks. Each one has plenty to do for kids that age.

If you get a free night with the wife, head to EPCOT. Eat at Le Cellier and go drink around the world.

If you haven't already, make reservations and book fast passes now.

Paper fast passes will be done at the end of January. We're going the 25th-31st and we've been told to be prepared to go exclusively through MyDisney.

For epcot there's lots of different character meets at the different countries.

Snow white in Germany, the frozen sisters at Norway... Plenty of others

Also a whole new area in MK. Really looking forward to be our guest and gastons Tavern

Enjoy. We'll be there on the 18th. Staying at Wilderness Lodge. Disney shipped us the bracelets - debit / credit card tied to this bracelet, room key, charge meals, souvenirs, etc.

Last time we went, we were able to get every meal with charactar dining. Make reservations now because they fill up quick. 180 days out. When you hit 180 days, you better be on the phone at 6am. We had 9 in our party last time and nailed every reservation.

Mickey's backyard BBQ, do it. Your kid will love it. They get to dance with all the main charactars, mickey, Minnie, goofy, etc to a live band. The BBQ ain't good but it's free beer and the kids all have a blast.

BB Boutique- is a must for a little girl and you can do it the night before your breakfast. The hairspray and makeup will survive sleep. You'll have to scrub that shite off.

Cape May cafe for breakfast was good too. All the wonderland characters.

Lunch at, shite I can't remember the name, it's in animal kingdom starts with a B I think, nice outside bar while you wait for your table. Food is really good.

Check into Hollywood studios for lunch on the night you want to see fantasmic. Three restaurants offer premium seating for the show if you dine there for lunch. I'd have to ask my wife for the names.

Breakfast at the animal kingdom lodge is bad arse but no characters.

Reserve dinner at the German restaurant in Epcot. Food is superb and the show is entertaining for all. The kids get to go on stage and partake. No characters.

There's a restaurant in magic kingdom with pooh and friends but the wait, even with reservations, is horrible.

Anyway, best advice, plan it, don't wing it, you'll spend all your time waiting in lines and miss out on all kinds of fun stuff.

Flying to Orlando tomorrow morning with out daughter. Leaving to come home on the 18th. Just found out that they're soft-opening the new tapas restaurant in the Morocco pavilion in Epcot: Spice Road Table

They aren't available in the traditional sense anymore. You get 3 per day, all at one park, and if you are staying on property you can book them 60 days in advance of your trip

quote:

Beginning January 14th, Magic Kingdom will no longer distribute legacy paper FASTPASSes. Disney World guests and those with MagicBands and valid theme park tickets attached to their My Disney Experience accounts will be able to book their FastPass+ experiences up to 60 days in advance using the My Disney Experience app or DisneyWorld.com. Off-site guests and those without MagicBands will be able to make their FastPass+ selections on the day of at the kiosks inside the Park. FastPass+ kiosks are located in the following locations:

OP, go Here for crowd level predictions and touring advice. If you are eating on property you need to be making reservations now for any sit down meals. The most popular places are fully booked 180 days out. Download the my disney experience app and enter your reservation number. That way you can schedule fast passes for the rides that are a must do, make dining reservations, etc.

If they are doing fast passes for lunch at Be Our Guest (they were testing for this in September and we were able to do it) I'd highly recommend it.

As someone mentioned:

Hollywood Studios - has muppets, Disney Jr show, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and a lot of other things for the 4yr age.

If you want to Mickey, Minnie, or Pluto go to Epcot there is a meet and greet in Future World that's never busy. Also Nemo in friends in the Seas pavilion. I went last year with my 3yr old and she didn't want to leave the Nemo area.

Character dining- chef Mickey - 1900 park fair - crystal palace are my favorites.

I would avoid Animal Kingdom right now at her age .. They just removed the only real area that was for the younger group! (Building Avatarland)

Hope this helps and have a great time

31 time Disney Vet here ..

5 days is all you need.

You can do Hollywood and Animal kingdom in a day off peak.
Epcot in a day MK in two.
