What's the best way to build your kid's Disney collection? I'm really considering going digital, but not sure the best way to go about it. I received an offer for DMC in mail and am considering it as well. Thanks

Act them out yourself.

You'd be a great dad and you'd actively do something with your kid. Then years down the road they would think you came up with all the ideas for Disney movies!

Digital is my opinion.

Had the whole collection on vhs as a kid until they stopped selling vhs, eventually DVD will go extinct too

Do you get to download digital? I won't buy stuff on services like Amazon prime. You have access to stream it, but don't really have your own copy. If it's ever discontinued, you just paid for a movie and lost it. Plus I don't re-watch much.

But now that I have a kid, I realize we should probably buy movies. But I'd still like to own a copy and not streaming rights.

Depends how much you wanna pay for those movies. Disney charges a hefty per movie price IIRC. Wife wanted to do it and I had to shut it down for price purposes

For my son I've been buying blu-ray/dvd combos that usually come with a digital copy as well.

Secret Facebook co-op groups allow women to get together n place large orders of items for cheap. I bve gotten most of the Disney movies for less than 5 bucks. Order extras to use as bday n Xmas presents. They place orders a few times a year.

It comes with a code that lets you download the movie. I would say you are better off getting the movies at wal-mart or on amazon. A lot of times you will save 5 or so bucks that way.

You could also buy DVDs on eBay cheaper and then rip them to your computer. Put them on a flash drive and Play digital files through a media player on their tv

We just did the Disney Movie Club... You really can't beat the deal. The DVDs are really only used on car rides/long trips. In home we generally just go digital.

But again, the DMC is a great deal for the price they offer, so I would recommend it.
