Switch back and forth getting discounts

this is what i plan on doing. I left my DISH network dish on my house. Just told them it was stuck and i couldn't get it off my home without damaging it. They said frick it,you can keep it.

So when this DTV runs out all i have to do is switch coax cables, put set top boxes and roll

i could do everything with the Hopper that Genie does.
What's your point? Is this you trying to say DTV is better because you don't know anything about other services?

Only thing DTV has over Dish is wireless Receivers. Dish is supposed to be getting them very soon.

are you talking about the trash channels as well? If so maybe. DTV does seem to have a shite load of shite channels spread all throughout their channel lineup whereas DISH had them all quarantined into one section of their channel lineup.

It really depends on what your personal needs are. I'd call both and see what it's going to run you. Both are very similar and probably not enough differences to worry about. My situation was better for Directv and that's who I went with. Yours may be totally different and Dish is better.

dude. I have told you as a customer to both. Dish HDTV and DTV HDTV is same, DTV channel lineup format is absolute shite and you will miss CST and the SEC network. You will be kicking yourself for going with DTV. I know I am.

Hey man, we get it. Your vote has been noted. Jesus, you need to settle down with your hatred of a freaking cable provider.

you will miss CST

Might not be important to him. I know I wouldn't care about it.

Directv will have this as well. Not really an argument once that is signed.

maybe so but there are a bunch of channels that should be grouped together on DTV that are 200 channels away. I don't have the time to dig through the lineup and see. It's what i've noticed since switching to DTV 6 months ago.
