Any suggestions for restaurants in Baton Rouge? Oldest son is graduating from LSU in May. We are a family of 5 plus his girlfriend. Graduation is for 5:30, so I am figuring we would be eating around 7:30/8:00 pm

And yes.

Plus, you still have to get off campus.

Gosh I hope not. Graduations are now spread out over 2 days. Main ceremony on the 14th, Diploma ceremonies are held all day/evening on the 15th. Each college at a different time.

Main ceremony is still going to push 3 hours. LSU gives out PhDs like candy, apparently.

Though maybe having it at 5:30 instead of 10 will encourage the speakers to step on it.

Actually family does not attend the Main ceremony, and from reading on TD, many students do not attend. We will be attending the Diploma ceremony on Friday evening at 5:30. Diplomas for only his college are being given out at 5:30
