People addicted to their phones.

No communication except through texting (or that snapchat business).

Humans rarely interact with other humans (and they often avoid it deliberately).

Elimination of social mores and good manners.

At any given moment the world is flooded with millions of worthless opinions provided via social media.

Platforms are provided for every deviant lifestyle and personality disorder.

Ubiquitous pornography easily accessible to children.

Shortening of the human attention span.

Reduced attendance at LSU games due to all of the above.

Seriously, while there are many benefits of the internet and digital technology, it takes a lot longer to see how the downsides play out. We are getting there.

Good, frick society. People want to romanticize old school human interaction but they forget how fricking lame it was.

Really? You think that's cause of iPhones, do ya?

I'm sure it's got nothing to do with the increased ticket prices or parking fees.

Splendid Isolation (Warren Zevon)

I want to live alone in the desert
I want to be like Georgia O'Keefe
I want to live on the Upper East Side
And never go down in the street

Splendid Isolation
I don't need no one
Splendid Isolation

Michael Jackson in Disneyland
Don't have to share it with nobody else
Lock the gates, Goofy, take my hand
And lead me through the World of Self

Splendid Isolation
I don't need no one
Splendid Isolation

Don't want to wake up with no one beside me
Don't want to take up with nobody new
Don't want nobody coming by without calling first
Don't want nothing to do with you

Would trade all the modern day conveniences from digital technology to go back and grow up in the '70s.

People are out of control with their cell phones. Went cool off at the student union for a while before the game Saturday and had to laugh. All you see is groups of girls all sitting in a circle taking duck lip selfies. Not even talking, the whole group just sitting on their phones.

I love my cell phone, and the ability to look up things at will. I wouldn't mind if life was like it was in the 90's before they became a normal thing to have. I would probably miss it for about a week, then I would be good after that.

Meh. Interacting with other humans is largely a Craig experience.
You of all people should know that since you are a lawyer and you live on the west bank
