I did every friday night and smoked weed and cigarettes yet still able to run cross country. I could've been jailed or dead.

yuuup, typical Friday & Saturday night .... go out at 11pm and visit The Boot, Metro, Sitting Duck, Shanahans, AT II's, Fat Harrys, F&M's, and 4:30am breakfast at Tiffin Inn. Occasionally we'd have to bail a friend out of OPP 
Sundays were spent at The Fly doing the same drinking smoking, and listening to whatever RUSH cassette I could find

Legal drinking age was 18. So damn near half the Seniors could go buy alcohol.

I don’t think I played a single football game my sr season that I wasn’t drunk. Getting out at half day, and school being right outside of LSU made it pretty easy to get fueled up. Then again, 18 was legal drinking age back then.

Yeah Junior year it became every weekend at least. Sort of the norm for most. I drank a bit before that but thats when it became an all weekend affair. God bless those drive thru daq shops in Chalmette.

of course we drank in high school.....we used to ride around drinking and smoking and going to bonfires in high school, friends camps....etc. My parents would let us drink at the house when they were out of town and they were out of town a lot...we would have card games and also pool parties and crawfish boils.

We got fricked up pretty regularly. I'd be concerned if my child drank as much as we did. The amount of drinking and driving was insane. Get drunk and drive from one parking lot or bon fire to another.

Got in pretty bad trouble drinking when I was in 9th grade. Didn't hurt anyone just stupid stuff. Was straight as an arrow until about about the end of Sr year. Turned my attention from cheap beer to cheap pussy LOL... should've stuck with the beer tbh.
