Did the AM leak permanently change your opinion of people?

is it all a farce? with the amount of hand-wringing over how many liars and cheats exist among your own family and 'good' people of the community, is society doomed?
is the concept of morality and integrity dead?
did it ever exist? are there no great people left who are honest and respected? were there ever any role models in the first place or was it all a great big lie?

The concept of morality and integrating has totally never existed. Everybody has secrets and only the ones dumb enough to use their bank accounts and real life info on a website built for affairs just further exposes how stupid people are when it comes to technology. It's like saying people didn't lie or cheat before the Internet.
There are plenty of role models left as long as you don't know who they really are

@ people that think cheating is something new. You just never heard about it when you were young and that's not what you learned growing up.
As you get older, your eyes open a bit and see most of the truth.
Nothing people do, other than serious crimes like rape and murder and hurting kids surprise me anymore. Nothing at all. Especially behind closed doors

How many people that signed up for that website actually cheated on their SO? I'd say the % is pretty low. I believe the scum % remains the same as ever.

I'm honestly shocked how big of an ordeal this whole website hacking has become. I'm not married but I've been in enough relationships to know when things aren't right. You pick up on indescribable cues and mannerisms that show a persons line of thought. Out of everyone on that list, I really don't believe there were that many spouses blown away that their significant others were browsing around, whether they admit it to the, selves or not

What are you, a fricking child?

I agree. My wife is always like "OMG look at this this or that" in regards to people on Facebook or just people in general.
But nothing surprises me. I'm just like "yep go figure"

I'd imagine the shite that went on in say, the 20s or the 60s, eras that are known for sex, drugs, and alcohol probably dwarf today's amount of savagery that goes on behind people's backs and closed doors.

Technology just makes it easier to cheat. Back in the day you had to meet in person or use a landline to communicate. On the flip side it can also make it easier to get got if you're a dullard. ie data dumps and e trails.

i'll be honest. when cleaning up a relative's house after their husband was deceased, i came across a bunch of 1950s porno magazines..WHITE HOUSEWIVES VIOLATED BY LARGE NEGRO COCKS.
i was horrified. flipping through a couple of these..yep..there was clearly no limits to what was available back then.
it was really an eye-opening experience.

Only it went on openly and if your wife got in the way she likely was abused physically or emotionally.
People are shitty, and will always be shitty. The names being released on some rip off site that only existed due to its risqué marketing is far from the worst of people's troubles

I would argue that technology makes it easier to get caught cheating
