Some Brown Thrashers made a nest near my carport. I've been watching them for 2-3weeks. The babies have some feathers and have formed wings but still look pitiful.

Well today one of the babies had fallen out and was clinging to the vines below the nest. I left it alone to see if maybe it would make its way back up into the nest.

Checked several hours later and and baby was still in same spot this time chirping loudly. So my dumbshit self went grabbed a glove and thought I would put him back. Well when I was putting him back the parents were losing their shite and the commotion made the other babies jump out altogether. Tried putting one back in but it jumped right back out so I just left them be. Now no babies are in the nest.

Any chance they survive or did I frick nature up?

Sucks more because I really like these type birds.

I mean, if the birds are gonna commit suicide over something insignificant like that, how long did they really have in this world?

Well, that's what I thought at first, but I wasn't sure if he was some yankee who wouldn't know what I meant.

Anyone who doesn't know what a roux is is a godless heathen that has no palate.

And I'm not even from or live in LA.

I know you're not suppose to victim blame but I'm kinda pissed at them for getting all stupid. Just stay in the fricking nest.

Sounds like the parents are kicking the babies out because they are ready to fly. Putting them back in the nest won't hurt anything.

You can put them all back in the nest. The parents were freaking out at you, not at the baby.
