There is a ground breaking today for the River District Development right north of the Convention Center. The developers for this fly project need to shift gears and see if they can move down river to this area.

Looks like they know what they're doing. Best of luck, guys.

One from UT Austin and the other from UGA. Dem coon asses gonna fleece them sheep....they'll be lucky to escape New Orleans alive. Bankrupt is a foregone conclusion but you could probably make book on the O/U if they wind up dead or not...

Remember when the folks on Expedition and Walnut didn't want the Audubon golf course renovated?

worst idea aver was converting the mall into condos. had they not done that the whole area could have been a really nice commercial area right on the river

they'll have engineers to deal with that. we just finished a new building at waterford 3 and had to de-water the entire site for two weeks just so we could dig an 8' deep hole for a lift station

When they dug the foundations for the LNB building (whatever it's called now) in downtown BR, they froze the area with liquid nitrogen. That's what a professor told us anyway.

I have no doubt that the NIMBYs already have them printed.

I will say that the statement SORT OF reads like they just want some concessions on nothing new being built beyond the current footprint, and some late hours/noise concessions
