I wonder if when he had it he ever thought to himself "you know this isn't that much worse than a cold" like almost everyone else that's gotten it in the past year

My parents had it last week. It put them both in the hospital for a couple of days. I had it in November. I got over it without medical intervention but I felt like dogshit for a few days and had fatigue and a lingering cough for a couple of weeks. It's not the death sentence it was for a lot of people in 2020 but my experience with it was more than a cold. YMMV.

While that’s generally correct, they do wear n95s to protect themselves when needed

Fairy positive I'm the one who gave you that name. I think I'll survive you lumping me into some random group of people that would dare notice the way you post.

Surgeons wear masks to keep your fluids from squirting into their mouths.

So you think surgeons are cool with those fluids going in their eyes?

You'll be shocked when you google and learn what a face shield is, which is, the thing that does what you thought the mask does for surgeons.

I get it's not the same for everybody. I lost close friends to Covid. I've had it twice. The first time I got it, at the start of the pandemic, it kicked my butt, much worse than a cold. After I got the vaccine (I would see my elderly mom almost daily and I just wanted to do what i could to make sure I didn't give it to her), but didn't get any boosters, my second go around was much less severe. Felt bad for 1-2 days.

I'm sure Stern was 10x boosted and probably didn't have it that bad. More like a bad cold. Like the majority of people that get it right now. This isn't going out on a limb, it's just what it is right now.

I'm sorry, being deathly afraid of something like that for 3+ years is ridiculous and he should feel pretty stupid about it. I'm sure he'll go right back to being a hermit but probably worse now. Not sure what the end game is for someone like him. Like at what point will someone like him return to a normal life? Never?

The only thing that was a death sentence in 2020 was the death protocol of remdesivir, vents, then a cocktail of benzos and painkillers. So, going to the hospital. After that, it was bad batches of vaccines starting in Jan 2021. The data is very clear. It just smacks you in the face with black swan events after rollout

So what did the vaccine do for Stern then? In his case, it doesn't seemed to have A) prevented COVID and B) lessened his symptoms.

He hasn't been relevant in a loooong time.

Pretty sure he's like 70 now, anyway.

He couldn't get those buck teeth behind the mask.
