You shouldn't leave your smaller dogs or children alone with any large dog. No breed is perfect, even the much-ballyhooed golden retriever.
you don't have any idea what breed i own. your point is vague and sucks.
i'll give you a hint tho: it has a lower body fat % than a pit does and is far far more athletic. still wouldn't leave her alone with a trashy pit. i would a golden tho.
and at the same time i would have no issue with leaving her with a small child. because her nor her bread is aggressive or dangerous.

If it’s not a trained and certified helper animal, like a seeing eye dog, it should be in the cargo hold.
This “emotional support animal” crap is out of hand.
Just take a Xanax and have a drink like a normal person. You don’t need an “emotional support peacock” for an hour ride to Dallas.

Can we get a vinn diagram that compares the dogs who were trained to be aggressive. I'm almost positive it will look about the same.

The likelihood of a properly raised and trained dog, even a pit, attacking unprovoked is extremely low. People believing otherwise is a pretty great example of how misleading the availability heuristic is.

Why don't they just ban all service animals on flights?
Posted on 6/22/18 at 6:53 pm to RedRifle
Wow, a common sense move by Delta.
No way it lasts.

“Common sense” should be reserved for things that actually make sense.

Pit bulls suck brah. Just accept it.

If so, it's a stupid point.
It's not a stupid point. Pit pumpers always like to point out how aggressive Chihuahuas are.
And they probably are. But they can't kill you. A pit can.

It is a stupid point when you consider how rare an event it actually is.
And what do you mean by “pit”? Which of the multiple subtypes broadly covered by the term “pit bull”?

I didn’t realize there were so many low functioning people bringing such “service” animals with them.

Regardless of how we feel about pit bulls, there’s no way in hell this holds up in court.
The policy is way too vague and leaves it up to the average flunkie Delta employee to decide whether or not a dog is a pit bull.
All it’ll take is one dipshit Delta employee telling a customer their trained service animal is a pit bull and it’s all over once the lawsuit hits the news. That’s the reality.

Delta flights just got a whole lot safer. Now I don't have to worry about getting killed by pit bull while I fly.
How often was this a concern for you

Is my service tiger and service elephant not allowed to fly together?

It's sickening the amount of people that can go online and 20 minutes later print out a certificate for their "service animal".
According to the ADA, you don’t actually need any sort of proof about a service animal’s qualifications. Furthermore, there are only a couple of very basic and vague questions that a business can legally ask about said animal.

No one says you can’t have it on the plane. You just can’t pull it out.
Thanks a lot, Bin Laden.

My Pit Bull is the most playful and kind dog I've ever been around. A well trained, well taken care of pit bull isn't any different than a lab or retriever. There are several breeds more tempermental and aggressive than pit bulls.

this too. you can order the dog vests on Amazon for Christ sake.
It’s, generally, pretty easy to tell the difference but no one wants $8 an hour front line staff making judgement calls on disability services
