I realize this may be considered a Food & Drink Board topic however since this is a entertainment complex and is of wide appeal to people I posted it here.

Plans were filed with the city in the past month for a massive multi-use structure at the corner of Loyola Ave and Poydras Street. The first floor will contain large amounts of retail, floors 2-5 will contain parking and the sixth floor will house a 40,000 square foot Dave & Busters. Another interesting design feature of the project is the large LED ticker screen on the corner of the building.

It will be over taken with trash in a few months, and most of the board will not want to go there.

if you have been to a D&B, you discover that its a really unpleasant experience with the sort of trash that goes there.

I don't know that I would want to own Walk On's right across the street.

Ah, makes sense.

Are there any plans for City Hall or is it still in use?

Walk On's will be just fine. Nobody thought they would succeed in that location and they're printing money. This is in response to their success.

I'm just thinking of the construction and subsequent traffic on Poydras and Loyola.

It wouldn't be a thread on the OT without the word 'trashy' being used .
