You and the OP make me feel shitty about being upset that one of my daughter's toes is crooked and sits on top of the other. Hope your kid gets better also

Yeah I'm thankful that that is the worst we have to deal with. You guys' situations put things in perspective but I'm still greedy, but I would have been willing to deal with anything as long as she's here.

Neuroblastoma, MD Anderson: it was found originally in the womb with the thought it was a cyst. Upon checking on it they noticed the growth. Modern medicine is unbelievable

Was there a reason to look for it in the womb? Or did you guys do the test for birth defects?

With the kidney resection, I figured it might be neuroblastoma.

The sonographer noticed something a little off during our last check up before birth. We were home without a care in the world when they called us saying that she had noticed something maybe a cyst and wanted to give it an extra look. If not for her noticing it there is no telling how long until it was noticed. She is a good family friend now to say the least.

Glad they decided to look into it. Could have easily been missed. I could have done without reading this the day before my wife goes in to find out what we're having though. JK, this made my week man

Good thing it was found early. Diagnosis less than 2 years old has a great survival rate. Good luck!
