you dummies love getting your movies from gas station vending machines a.k.a. redbox, or worse, illegally streaming them. which i might add is illegal. you don't see what it's doing to families.

The potential job cuts represent about 40 percent of Blockbuster's U.S. workforce of 7,300 people.

The low prices of movie renting and streaming is killing families who depend on it as a source of income. While you assholes say hell yeah for the convenience and price of cheap movie watching, y'all for get about the families lives who are being destroyed.
(Am I doing this right?)

Is this somehow tied to oil prices?

There's too much news to play catch-up. You should just skip ahead to the present.

Since the blockbuster on highland started cranking out burritos and cheeseburgers the only blockbuster I've seen was in Fairbanks, Alaska where pretty much no one has access to in home high speed internet so streaming is impossible.

are we somehow now trying to compare Blockbuster laying off 3k employees to the state of O&G and how it is effecting the entire global economy?

We could bring up computers replacing typewriters if you want. I'm pretty sure that had global effects but I could be wrong.

Streaming prices should be increased a lot so that Blockbuster stores will be able to survive. This is destroying families and businesses.

We also should go back to horse and buggies because it isn't far that we destroyed the horseshoe industry.

That destroyed families.

redundant on purpose? In the era of internet streaming, if you didn't see the writing on the wall and still work at a brick and mortar blockbuster, you kinda had it coming.
