$100 mil is a shitload. If he has much of it in investments he could be pulling in multi millions per year simply through dividends.
Him spending $650,000 on a festival is about equivalent to someone making $50k/yr spending about $300 on a ticket.

Not even close. He's worth $100M, he doesn't make $100M a year.
Hypothetical -
Dan B. makes $10M a year which I think would be generous. This means Dan B. just spent 6.5% of his yearly gross income on a music festival.
If Johnny poor guy makes $50k a year and spends $300 on a music festival then he only spent .6% of his yearly gross income.
Pretty big difference there
