Currently under a tornado warning. Wind is kicking. Rain coming down in sheets.

Stay safe everyone - this is a strong band of rain.

The way the sirens "walk" towards the house always freaks me out.

Sleep is overrated anyway.

In Plano at the Allen border. Nothing like getting under your stairs with a crabby toddler.

Rain and winds were bad here. Hoping I don't have any trees or limbs to deal with.

Yep, it was super loud in Fort Worth.

Hope everyone makes it out safe.

Yeah it was raining pretty hard and windy as hell around 4am here in B/CS, it's slowed down to just rain right now.

The damn alarms woke me up (southlake at 3:30 am) and I could not get back to sleep. This is a full coffee pot kind of day already

I got the call from the city too. But nothing where I live in Lewisville (south near 3040).

Though on the way to work there were several trash bins blown over and one fence knocked down.

Checking in from Frisco. My first time since moving up few months back to be jolted out of bed by the sirens. There's no going back to sleep from that. Got a leaky ceiling in playroom. Glad that's all.

Checking in from Uptown Dallas. Slept like a baby all night and didn't hear a thing, nor did I get alerted by my cell phone.

I like waking up to storms but waking up to the tornado siren isn't nearly as fun Wasn't too bad in grapevine, just a little wind.

I'm in The Colony/Carrollton area and the sirens kept going off around 3-4AM. It was f'ing horrifying hearing those sounds along with the heavy wind smashing into the window.

Screw sleep, I was busy looking outside for any sign of a twister touching down so I can run to my hiding spot.

We got a nice semi heavy steady rain right now in Navasota with some pretty good wind gusts and the damn temp dropped what feels like 20 degrees
