Great frontline show on police and race, police brutality and efforts to curb it from both sides of the issue called policing the police that is worth watching. Aired last week bizarrely. LINK

That's creepy as hell. But frontline is almost always great. I'll have to watch that after dinner

One of the sad ironies here is that the Dallas police department is on the forefront of using training and education to reduce police brutality and racial profiling. They're not perfect, which is understandable for a department that size, but they should be used as an example of progress by other departments and groups like BLM.

Unfortunately there's a good chance that this tragedy will stunt that growth and progress.

I don't listen to npr, but I do read articles and form opinions based off of those articles. Sometimes my opinions are similar to other opinions. It's crazy how that happens.

The Boston bombing thread was at least 1,000 pages. I think closer to 1,250. And ATPB was really long.

It took a few days to get to 1000 though. From the bombing to the catching up to them.

True. But this thread is now, what? 3 days old? And it's only at 225. I don't think it's going to top 1,000

I'm about 110% positive he knew that. He's just pre-empting the people who will inevitably ask once a thread reaches 200+ pages.
