I'm glad my HS gf had parents who treated me like one of their own. Dads know that 17yo kids are young going to frick. People that age have raging hormones, sitting up texting all night. I will tell my son to invite his friends over instead of sneaking into a house. It's going to happen. May as well save him from mustache.

I love how the girl said she did not know the boy and then later admitted she did know him. What is going to really be funny is if the girl gets pregnant and the dad killed the baby's daddy!

Or if the put the girl on the stand. Her testimony will ultimately send her father to prison or keep him out of prison.

Yeah that would be awesome, pregnant girl sends her baby's daddy's murderer to prison, who also happens to be her father.

The account I read said the girl told the dad she didn't know the boy, the boy reaches for something and the dad shoots him. He walks if true.

Where I would have a major problem is if the daughter were 16 and the guy was 27. That motherfricker is either going to the morgue or to jail with a few marks on his body that say Louisville slugger.

Yeah, the "trespasser" doesn't have a case for anything. He dead.
Father has to pay the price for his daughter's mistake, IMO. He did what he thought was right. But using guns come with a responsibility/understanding that you may actually hurt/kill someone that you didn't intend to.
Daddy is going to prison. The prosecution is going to rip the daughter apart in cross-examination.
