Yeah, every day that we walk past a kid on the sidewalk I think my lucky stars that my ferocious 40 lb pit bull didn't break off of her leash and murder the little child. I know it will happen one day though.

You shouldnt be worried about that. You should be worried about it snapping one day and your own child is in the room and you arent anywhere near because youve become complacent and assume that you know the mentality of your dog.

and another thing, if my kid was just bitten by a dog and I'm taking him to the hospital, the last thing on my mind is going to be to confront some guy about sagging his pants. This guy is a complete piece of shite, i'd say with 99% confidence that the dog's actions were a product of the environment she was in and i feel bad for her. The kid is being raised in the same environment and will likely be as trashy as the father. Some people just shouldn't reproduce.

Not only that, but he also confronted the dog first. He separated the child and the dog and then went into the room with the dog and attacked it. This guy sounds nuts, but for some reason he is getting praise from half the people here. Shows how backwards this board is.

Sounds like he tried to teach the dog consequences. Why are pits so dumb that they're the only ones who make the news and "become products of their environment"? Are other dogs smart enough to overcome the struggle?
