Curt Schilling has gone off the rails

Personally, it is worth a listen because he comes off as worse in the interview this morning as well. He just has foot in mouth syndrome along with being a total a-hole. He isn't even really wrong but he just cannot help himself from being defensive and a bit of a prick
Frankly, the best part of this is that he was on Fox Business because he wants to run against old commie Elizbeth Warren. I,for one, would love to see what a Schilling campaign would look like

I always ignore athletes and celebrities when they open their mouths about things unrelated to sports or music/movies/television. There are so many famous people who think that just because they are on TV a lot that their opinions are valuable and matter more.
They simply don't. Athletes and celebrities are not scholars or academics or intellectuals. They are simply entertainers. We pay athletes to run around. We pay actors/actresses to play make believe. We pay singers to sing. That is where the transaction ends.

I mean, he's not wrong about any of that. She knew exactly what he was getting at, but she continued to take it literal instead of the obvious intended hypothetical. You can tell if someone will grow up to be a good looking person or not and that doesn't make you a pedophile or want to have any sexual encounter with them. I feel like Im taking fricking crazy pills here. What exactly did he say that was wrong?

I've heard adults say that this boy or this girl was going to be a heartbreaker when they grow up my entire life.
My friends and I have also said things like "my future ex-wife is in middle school right now", as in, 10 years from now I'll be dating college aged chicks.
