People are getting mugged left and right, aren't they? I used to work downtown and would work late into the night. I parked 4 blocks from my office and I never felt unsafe walking to my car at 1 in the morning, and that was away from the 3rd street action. As with any urban landscape, it's always in your best interest to stay aware of your surroundings.

It would be nice to have another decent Marriott property in BR. The suites at Renaissance are passable, but they don't even have porn.
