I would be in jail too. 4 different burglars in your front yard because something isnt nailed down or chained up? You couldn't even sleep at night in those conditions.

There a bunch of videos on youtube of prank bike thefts.. Not sure if they are real.. but it's pretty funny.

They baited the field. Just like putting corn in shallow water during duck season.

Hopefully they had "Beat on the Brat" by The Ramones playing over the video.

"If you hadn't left the bike out, I wouldn't have stolen it"

"But I did leave it out"

Wildlife should ticket then for hunting in a baited field, which means a fine and no jail time.

You mean 'parked their property on their property.'

Jury nullification...frick thieves.

If they tried this in NOLA 9 out 10 times the thieves would get away with the bike. They would need to come out with more than bats.

It’s really a shame that this isn’t legal.

Was anyone else shocked to read this was California after seeing the pictures?

And what they did should be perfectly legal.

If everyone did this we wouldn't have thieves in the world.

But people are too soft to ever allow it or do it consistently.

Imagine that. When there are consequences to behavior, people will think twice about it.
