I'd probably get beat down, but I'd at least try.

Right now? No. Before my career ending injury? Probably. Seven good years of boxing, four of BJJ. Last fought at 155, and could do 22 reps of 225 at the time with a 5min flat mile. I think depending on how boring of a 5 minutes you let me have, I could withstand it.

But today's fighters are a different breed than what they were when I fought, and I like to think I've been pretty good at scaling back my expectations. Used to be most people didn't cross train, now every decent discipline is cross or pure grappling. That was my biggest advantage, the ignorance of other people.

That gif shows one of the advantages of being a lefty. Right handed people often times will never see that left hook coming in until they're laying on the ground wondering how the hell they got there. Yes, I'm left handed.
I'm a righty but my left hook generates more power than my right, at least per the punching machine games.

I both shocked and disappointing that I'm the only one in three pages to think of facing a female UFC fighter.

HECK NO.

I always thought I was at wrestling until I was messing around with a guy that had a good bit of training. Those guys can fold you up like a pretzel if you step towards them the wrong way. Having to worry about that AND avoid getting your bell rung by a punch seems impossible to be.

I have legit fought 3 before 2 choked me out and I knocked another one out. They were all between 175 and 210lbs just guessing. With a little dude, I'd say there would be a 50/50 chance

Eta: not UFC fighters, just MMA

I believe he is a righty because he sets his feet to fight right handed after the hook. Most fighters train the weak hand hook much more often thn the strong hand hook because it is much closer and easier to land. I am right handed but my left hook is much more deadly because I train it much more often.
