I don't have a smart phone, and turn my cell off on most nights and weekends. I have gone about a month and a half with no phone of any type and no Email.

Cell phone addiction currently afflicts roughly 70-80% of cell phone owners. People under the age of 40 seem to be disproportionately affected. Half the world (US) seems to be driving, walking, living with a screen 6 inches from their face.

After letters and numbers, there is no other single man made object/vehicle impacting humans as significantly. We are at the beginning of unprecedented point in human history. We hear about a wealth disparity, and that is significant. We are about to see the intelligence disparity increase. The dumb will get even dumber... scary.
