Could you date a girl that's a picky eater?

I think that's one of the things that drives me crazy more than anything else. We go to a nice restaurant and she tells the waiter to leave off half the shite because she doesn't eat that. Scared to try new stuff because she doesn't know if she'd like it. Can't order an interesting appetizer, instead ordering frickin cheese fries. And if I'm cooking hounding me not to put x, y, or z in it.
I'd figure by the time you're an adult this would go away, but sadly for far to many people that's not the case.

you just described my wife and it drives me up a wall. its worse when we go to someone's house where they cooked for all the guests and she wont eat half the shite they cooked. its disrespectful to the hosts at the very least.

Married one. Not that big of a deal. I order and eat what I like, she does the same. When I cook, she can pick out all of the shite she doesn't want.

Legitimate deal breaker for me. To be fair though, I am a lover of food. One of my favorite things to do is go new places and try different things. My best friend's fiancé is the world's worst, and I have a hard time dealing with her... much less someone I was dating myself. We'll all go out somewhere cool in Birmingham or Atlanta, and she'd order chicken tenders off the kids menu or some bullshite. Drives me nuts.
ETA: This actually happened recently in Denver when they came to visit over the holidays. She decided she "wasn't hungry" when she realized the restaurant we were at didn't have fricking chicken fingers and French fries.

No, not at all. That's not what I was getting at. It's only an issue if they refuse to try new things and make others suffer from their stubbornness. Going to new places and trying different foods and drinks is one of my favorite things to do. If a girl hated doing something you loved, wouldn't it be a problem?
