Well, they sure as shite fell asleep at the wheel after Katrina. The whole Northshore is fricked because they completely got rid of all standards. Outside of a few hoods, Mandeville is ugly AF now

Curious to know this as well but not chomping at the bit anymore. in the time it has taken them to make that traffic circle, they are halfway done constructing a grocery closer to me anyway.

circle done, but more construction is being done....I believe they're putting in speed lanes to turn right before traffic hits the circle...maybe they truly are waiting til project is done to open doors, if so smart move

Yeah I use it daily also. It is amazing how well it works. I am a strong advocate for round-a -bouts now after seeing the results of this one alone.

Must be the new grocery store on 22 at Bedico. This is the only new one I'm aware of in the area. The slab was placed a week or so ago.

I heard they had pulled out a while back. This thread started in April of 2014 and was bumped last night. I don't recall seeing a Ralph's sign on the site in a while and will check in 30 minutes or so when I'm passing by. This is a great location for a grocery store and we need one sooner than later.

Look - they had an IGA, Stein's grocery, and the Zip Mart by Badeaux's - what more do you need? I haven't been there in a little over 20 years but it sounds like the place has been thoroughly ruined.
