Interesting. It would be interesting to hear a Catholic's take on this.

Some dope at a Baptist Church invited me to their mass and I politely declined since I'm Catholic. He responds, you know you going to hell for worshipping Mary. I laughed it off but in my head was like frick you a-hole.

The only rational way to work out the issue of Adoration of Mary is to wait until the congregation which doesn't agree with your personal views is all in their church and then assemble a mob which thinks as you do, go with them and surround the other church, bolt the doors and windows to prevent them from escaping and burn the church down.

Problem solved.

Matthew 6:1 “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of people, to be seen by them. Otherwise, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
2 So whenever you give to the poor, don’t sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be applauded by people. I assure you: They’ve got their reward!

I'm guessing the trifecta consisted of baptism, communion, and confirmation not what the OT thinks happened.

Get your minds outta the gutter boys

Kudos to the Catholics!
We're Methodists, and the common factor: Jesus!

Congrats to your wife. The Easter Vigil that includes the Catechumens is a pretty cool Mass. Very different.

Catholics on one side of the spectrum, the Satanist on the other. Others in the middle trying to find their way.

I'm sure it depends on the denomination. Mine would freak out over someone praying to Mary. LOL!
