I’m leaning towards the conclusion maybe the Community Coffee K-cups have a defect.
I'm a lifelong Community Dark Roast drinker. I tried the K-cups when they first came out, and they weren't terrible. But, they aren't very good either.
So, I'm sticking with what I know - I have a commercial Bunn machine (CW series ) and I have recipes for 6-scoop (full pot) and 4-scoop (short pot). I haven't found anything to equal that - in my opinion, I make the best drip coffee in North America with that set up and, perhaps, the world.

The extra cup you wasted is still cheaper than the single Keurig K cup by a good bit.

Damn I wish my French press didn't make so damn much.

I'll answer your question unlike 90% of the other posts. Yes the only Kcups that give me problems are the CC ones. It would take forever to make a cup with those. Like the filter is to tight or the grounds are too thick. I switched back to PJs and everything is back to normal. My wife had the same experience at her office with CC Kcups and they could not figure out why. She took a PJs kcup to test and it worked.

Bunch of coffee snobs up in here.

Just buy the Walmart K cups. They taste great, don't drop grounds and are very cheap

Pinky out with their coffee, but many of the same addicted to sub par chain restaurants no doubt . Go figure.

Mine is about 4-5 years old. Frankly I never expected it to last a year.
I use Community kcups regularly; king cake, house blend and cafe special.
Also McDonald's "premium roast" ones are good.

Hamilton Beach FlexBrew
Probably the best $50 I’ve ever spent. Works better than Keurig, has option for full brew, and is reasonably priced

Quite a leap there. I don't frequent national chains too often.

I wasn't aware anyone put the actual cup in a keurig?
Get a filter cup, dipshit loser.

You really think there's a lot of overlap on French press owners and frequent Chili's eaters?

I bought the latest and greatest Keurig this past Christmas to replace our 8 year old one. And right off the bat, it kept plugging up and putting coffee grounds in our mugs. I took it back assuming I had bought a lemon, got a new one, and STILL have the same problem!
I’ve done all the cleaning steps and also tried other brand K-cups. And after some thought, I’m leaning towards the conclusion maybe the Community Coffee K-cups have a defect.
Any other OT Keurig owners notice this issue?
I'm having this EXACT issue with a brand new Keurig. Also using Community Coffee K cups. Taking it back this weekend.

I think the percentages of frequent chain addicts are at least the same on here, and considering it’s a lot of college aged kids on here, I’d say the odds even go up. Not sure about chili’s, but I bet Olive Garden and Carrabbas is on the table. Fleming’s and Bone fish are almost a certainty.

Those people are probably going to Starbucks, not using a french press.
I'd even bet the Keurig users were more likely to frequent chains than regular drip users. Keurigs offer convenience and quickness, much like chains.
