quote:

And literally, one day you may be envisioning your entire world, and recording it as well, through completely artificially constructed, 3D printed eyeballs. You may be able to say goodbye to prescription glasses and contact lenses — and even your camera, as your original retina is replaced by a new and digital network contained inside your head, and even able to be swapped out for different versions.

Damn science you scary.

I want a Steve Austin eye --

For you youngsters, that's the Six Million Dollar Man, not the wrestler.

I think I'll just keep my regular eye... I find it hard to believe that my natural eyes would be less effective than this bionic eye even with glasses/contacts/lasik.

So you're telling me I could beam porn directly into my brain without the hassle of an external monitor?

Yeah, but that, "na na na na na na na," sound every time you use it would be irritating.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
Screw that.
That was the most disturbing episode to me.

Agreed. If it works like my Direct TV, every time it rains, you'd go blind then see; blind again; then see.

This would be great for blind people though.

This would be great for taking nudes of your ole lady who want none of it or some super secret document like a test you happen to glance at in your professors office.

They could subpoena the drive to see what you actually saw and lied about.

Oh, and your wife could check while you sleep to see what you were really looking at when you said, "That bird over there."
