This motto has gotten me far in life. Well, "far" in that I've never been kidnapped.

He shouldn't have an issue buying them for his kids. I agree.

He should not have to pen a check for the amount and must hand it to this whore so she can spend it on dick juice.

Spending 1 cent of child support on yourself should be mandatory loss of spousal support and custody.

Its like people have never heard of making royalties.

I highly doubt he's getting paid royalties for his role in the Friday's movie. And when has this been a thing? An actor is paid one lump sum and it's not a common thing for actors to get royalties. I never said it's never happened but I highly doubt the Friday movies did much less Mike Epps.

Breez that's what sucks the way child support is paid to the ex wife. She can do whatever the hell she wants to do with it. $100 for the kids and $600 for me this PAYDAY. I used those numbers because that's what I paid my ex every 2 weeks. The ex doesn't have to claim the income on her taxes nor does she have to provide receipts to show the money was used for the kids. bullshite

Just a bucket full of lols. A) he can still pay for the kids shite, she's not an accountant why the hell would he have to put all the kids money through her, B) just because she was using and abusing his money for "the kids" while they were married doesn't mean it's ok to do it when they divorce.

It really depends on the actor and how their contracts are structured. But, some do get residuals on DVD sales and rentals, TV showings and merchandising.

While I doubt he's getting $3.5 Mil a year in residuals, they are a real thing and have been for awhile.

Residuals

quote:

What are residuals? Residuals are compensation paid to performers for use of a theatrical motion picture or television program beyond the use covered by initial compensation

quote:

How many residuals checks does SAG-AFTRA process each year? Between 1.5 million and 1.6 million paper checks are processed each year by the Union’s Residuals Department.

ETA: While unusual, the actor who played the warden in Shawshank is reportedly still getting a nice residual:

quote:

Gunton told Adams that he still gets residual payments — "not huge, but steady, close to six figures by the film's 10th anniversary in 2004." Since then, he has continued to get "a very substantial income," which is highly unusual for so many years later.
