Heading to Denver on the 3rd and staying downtown in my friend's loft.

What are some must-do things while we're there?

We are planning on skiing for 3 days. What is the cheapest way to get lift tickets and all that?

We also want to sight see and go hiking or biking if it's warm enough.

Only times I've been to CO, I've stayed at ski resorts so this is new for me.

Any help is much appreciated

Get your lift ticket and ski rentals online in advance for best deal. Are yal staying in the mountains those 3 days or driving back and forth from Denver?

there was a thread on this just yeasterday, I believe, so you may want to try to search it up...

as for the lift tickets, when I lived there the absolute best place to get lift tickets was at the grocery store...ski hills sold them there to the locals at one hell of a discount over what the tourists paid....

of course, you'll want to do some bar hopping in LoDo...

if you can get out of town for a day or so, try to take a snow mobile tour in the mountains...

if it is warm enough, check out the Denver zoo...if it is not, check out the museum of natural history...

there used to be a ski train that would leave Denver early in the morning, spend the day at a ski resort, and return late in the afternoon...hell of a fun way to kill a day skiing...

Lift tickets are expensive as frick. Go to Loveland. Probably the cheapest place and not resort-ish. Lifts are slow but no one is ever there and you'll pretty much have the runs all to yourself.

Don't know when the MLB season starts but you should hit up a Rockies game if possible.

Look up breweries around the city. Great Divide is cool. Wynkoop sucks.

Go to the Falling Rock bar.

Idk what else. If you're planning to drive a good bit there's plenty to do near Fort Collins or Colorado Springs.

Opening night is the 10th. Trying to see Rockie Cubs on the 11th.

Staying in Denver each night but we have a car there so can go anywhere.

We are only skiing for a few days. The snow mobile tour sounds awesome. Expensive? Where would I find info.

Thanks guys

Take the cog railway to the top of Pikes Peak. Go see the Royal Gorge. Go see the USAFA cathedral.
