College student kicked off plane for speaking Arabic on phone

That is exactly what happened. An Arabic-speaking Southwest Airlines employee of Middle Eastern or South Asian descent came to his seat and escorted him off the plane a few minutes after his call ended, he said. The man introduced himself in Arabic and then switched to English to ask, "Why were you speaking Arabic in the plane?"

I'm not going to lie, I was on a plane next to one of these guys who was speaking Arabic and I got a little squirmish. I was ready to beat his arse if he got up. Fortunately, I saw him put his phone on airplane mode then I calmed down a bit.

I agree, but I should have given context. I've seen this on Facebook and it has been posted by the BLM/White Privilege/Institutional Racism crowd. They have posted it thinking it proves either overt racism or subconscious/ingrained racism. My point is that this type of overreaction is no different than seeing a priest getting coffee in what appears to be a Klan uniform and then instructing black students to hide underneath your beds until police arrive.
