C'mon BR drivers. It's just a simple lane shift.

I've been in BR all week for work and the lane shift on I-10 has completely blown the minds of BR drivers. It's going to be a long few years on that stretch. Sheesh.

These fricks can’t drive straight much less shift any direction. Most of them honestly should be deported even if they’re citizens

If you sent them to another country they'd be confounded by roundabouts.

Serious question what are they doing? I-12 From O'neal to the split is in way worse shape and needs the attention

The best are the self important assholes that don’t know to take turns with a zipper merge as a lane ends.

Also, look at how many miles they're doing and look at the completion date.

FIVE frickING YEARS. Five years to do 1.53 miles. Now, let's look at that.

Five years is 1,825 days. Now, we operate on a five day work week, so let's assume that work will only be done for 5/7 of those days. That leaves us with about 1,304 work days in those five years. This is construction, so let's assume that (VERY GENEROUSLY) the environment means they won't be able to work half of the available days. That leaves them with 652 days. Now, they're only doing 1.53 miles. That's 8,078.4 feet and they have 652 days to do it.

Even with all of that allowance, to complete the project they need to work at the blistering pace of... 12.4 feet of road per day.

What a fricking clown show.

I take it you don’t drive that stretch at night do you? I work off O’Neal but live off Siegen. They’re always doing work on that stretch of I-12 by that time, so much so I started taking Jones Creek home because of how bad traffic builds up because of the construction.

Even before the closure a large portion of society cannot comprehend the concept of a passing lane.

I've long been a proponent of every four lane highway/interstate being provided an adjacent tree line with low hanging swinging vines for their travel.
