Closed Captioning on TV

does anyone use this all the time?

I started doing it for British TV shows because they talk so damn fast and now im addicted

my hearing is fine, but I feel like I get so much more


Anyone else do this?

I use it when I'm watching a movie because my kids like to run through random rooms at any time. I don't even notice them anymore. Ever.

Same here. I am starting to get a little hard of hearing but not enough to do the hearing aid thing yet. CC is a godsend. I turn it off on sports as it gets in the way of the action, but I otherwise have it on for most TVs in my home.

It's always really far behind for me. I use subtitles often in movies though, as there are a lot of scenes with bad audio.
