Remember when Pat Green did a big outdoor show in front of Freds(under a bigtop) Fall 2006? I met him outside that Circle K. He was running over before the show to get a redbull. I'm a big fan. That's my best memory of the Circle K b/c from 93-98 in college I don't remember much.

That is probably the best thing to ever happen in Tigerland....I think Roger Creager opened for him if my memory serves correctly. That my friend was an awesome night....turned me on to Texas Country...which it turn got me tuned into a lot more Americana type stuff. I haven't looked back since

Was a good night. Unfortunately PFG hasn't come out with much new decent music. But I'm still a huge fan of his early stuff.

Adios Days, Georges Bar, Gallywinter, etc.

I haven't been in Tigerland in 20 years - was the Circle K a rebranded version of the 7-11 that was across the street from Fred's?

It was a frequent stop to buy a Totino's party pizza or a Truck Stopper sandwich at 2:00 am. One of the most memorable things I saw there was when someone drove a car through the front windows early one morning.

By 95 all the 7-11s in BR were Circle Ks I'm pretty sure.
