Cider Market Booms!
Is the growth of the Cider Beer market another example of the pussification of America? The last time I had a cider was a woodchuck in back in 2006, now they are all over the place. What type of person would drink a cider in front of another human being???

As cider beer sales increase, so does transgender-ism.
Illusory correlation? I think not.

Chicks mostly. I admit I will drink a Strongbow from time to time... but I drink pretty much anything with alcohol in it.

I drink IPAs, porters, stouts, & ciders & the occasional PBR. I'm alpha as frick.

craft ciders are growing like crazy around Austin. they're not overly sweet, kind of taste like a sour beer or a dry white wine. not bad for a change of pace, but i can't imagine sitting back and pounding a sixer.

You do realize that hard ciders were one of the mainstays of pioneer life, right?
What is "pussy" about a lumberjack chopping down trees with his bare hands, then quaffing down a fermented alcoholic beverage?

This.
I've had a couple. Wouldn't ever pay for one, but they're not what people think they are. Its not that sweet like normal apple cider.

Well we're not a society of pioneers anymore with a ton of options in choices of beverage, I for one will not choose that over an Amber any day of the week.
