Rest in peace. He was definitely made of the right stuff. Broke the sound barrier and first to break Mach 2. Incredible life accomplishments.

I just returned from the future...BigHoss died and nobody cared.

Update: drbaseball also gone with no runs, no hits, and lots of errors.

Chuck Yeager gets talked about fairly often around the OT. The fact that jackass acts like no one here could possibly know who the man was is just idiotic.

Chuck frickin Yeags. Those ancient test pilots either had balls of steel or a screw loose, maybe both. Either way, Chuck was a symbol of those men, many who died in action and many whose names we do not know.
