You're not a pretentious douche .. just a regular douche that tries to cheat on his wife with her friends and threatens teenage fast food workers when his nachos bell grande doesn't come out as fast as he likes at Taco Bell ..

I've never had an issue there. When buying something, I'm out the door in less than 10 min.

If you need service, you just go online, make an appointment (which you can usually get same day or the next day) .. show up 10 minutes early, check in and you are out of there in minutes .. I have never had issues either ..

It's busy but I've never had a problem. Set appointment, go to appointment, pay and leave.

Here is my issue then...I didn't have an appointment. We figured out Friday night that my phone needed a new battery...nothing more, nothing less. Next available appointment? Wednesday afternoon. When you have to wait 4-5 days for something as simple as a battery replacement, then you are dealing with something that isn't very efficient. This place just isn't set up for the quick "in and out" walk-up customer with minor problems.

Yep. Showing up without an appt is a rookie move.

And then bitch because you had to wait without one.

Not in my experience. The couple of times I have dealt with the Apple Store in BR, the next available appointment was 3+ days later.

Never had an issue in an Apple store. Even if I show up without an appt I can usually get one within the next hour or so. Go shop around and come back in an hour. I don't whine or gripe about the wait when I don't have an appt.

And to the guy bragging about never going to an Apple store or Starbucks....who the frick cares? You want a cookie or something?

Not in BR..trust me.

I am not totally bitching about the wait. I get it. I went on "first come-first served" day because I didn't want to wait til Wednesday for an appointment, so I knew to expect a wait. .....I have sorted through all of my feelings and all of the comments and I think the crux of the matter is this...there is something basically wrong with your business model and/or setup when it takes 2 trips and 3 hours of your time just to get a new battery for your iPhone.

Yeah cause they're just waiting on YOU to walk in an hour before closing with no appointment, drop everything & tend to YOU. The hell with everyone that dropped their stuff off at appointments before you did.
Then if they did a crappy job replacing your battery you'd be the first on on here bitching about it.

Ego trip much?
