U2 delays album release in light of Trump victory

quote:

The rock band U2 has decided to delay the release of their upcoming album, "Songs of Experience," because of the election of businessman-turned-US President-elect Donald Trump. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the band's guitarist, David Evans, more commonly known as "The Edge," said the group had nearly completed their newest album when "the election (happened) and suddenly the world changed."

These celebrities and their drama.

Ridiculous. Why would who the President is have any impact on when you release an album?

I don't understand how these people feel they are so self important.

My God... actors, musicians, even people born with money (kardashians) feel that they are these superior beings. Bill Burr has a few good interviews recently where he just shits all over them.

really, who gives a frick? They aren't even from this country. Would Metallica delay release of an album because of whoever the frick runs Ireland is elected?

= We need to get a song in there slamming him and disparaging everyone who voted for him. Because we are right and you are wrong. Love U2

U2 should be thrilled at this election. Their best albums have come out under republican presidents.

They put out pure crap in the 90's and 2008-present

AND hey U2, want to really put your money where your mouth is? Don't stop in the US on your newly announced tour. Eat every fricking dime you would have made here. See how that feels.

A ridiculous and transparent manipulation. Make the losers who would be upset by this hate Trump, or hate him more than they do already.

Foreign commie bastards.

On June 10, 2014, ISIS killed 670 people in Badush, Iraq. Excluding this attack, another 158 people were killed in Iraq that month from suicide bombs.

On June 11, 2014, Boko Harem kidnapped 40 girls in Nigeria, and they have never been heard from since.

On July 8, 2014, a suicide bombing in Afghanistan killed 17 people, including 5 NATO troops.

On July 19, 2014, Boko Haram soldiers butchered over 100 people in Nigeria.

U2 released their album "Songs of Innocence" without delay on September 9, 2014. I guess to them, the lawful election of Donald Trump is worse than the deaths of all those innocents.
