I've experienced something similar in Central America. It's much worse when you can hear the creaking and sputtering from the bus, especially on the way down.

God it's beautiful there. That bus ride would be superb with a couple of drunk Coon-asses that's never been on anything taller than Monkey Hill.

I'd love to drive that road in a Jeep, but hot damn that bus adds the pucker factor

That not that bad. I've been on a bus in Guatemala and had a car come up the 1 way with about 30% narrower roads. All on the side of a mountain.

Yeah I've taken a 3 hour cab ride in Honduras before through the mountains and let's just say it's different.
