Went to my grandma’s 100th back in 1990. She lived to 104 and was sharper than Prez Joe to the end.

My aunt, now deceased

She had a huge set of scrapbooks from her WW2 days as a nurse in the Philippines.

It was truly wonderful to see her that day. It was the last visit we had.

Wonderful lady. Army Strong

no but once in Bill's Dollar Store I saw a "Happy 100th Birthday!" card

How big is the market for that? Is it even worth printing the card?

Wish I'd bought it tho

In! My grandmaw made a century in January. Still drank a cold beer to celebrate, but only one now because it messes up all her meds she's on. The good thing is that she still has all her whit. She had to go into a nursing home for a little while years ago to rehab a hip replacement. She said she was ready to get out of there because the food was terrible and she didn't have anyone to talk to. She would strike up a conversation with another resident one day, then the next it was like talking to a complete stranger because the other dementia riddled old lady didn't remember a thing they had talked about. Poor maw maw

Yep. My wife's aunt broke her hip at 99 but said she would be walking for her 100th birthday party, and she did. She also took her new car for a ride (no one would ride with her, but then she never was a good driver).

She was a character. She never said, "When I die..." she would always say, "If I die..."

Great grandmother. It was actually like her 104th or something birthday, but she had lied about her age for decades, and there were apparently no good records. She slipped one time and told her granddaughter how old she was when her son was born. Based on that math, it made her 104 or 105 when we celebrated her 100th. She lived a couple more years after that.

Great Aunt.. Walked in with a cane, made it another month. On a side note, my grandmother (her sister) just missed it by a few months.

Grandmother hit 99 this month.

One more year……she’s insanely healthy and lucid.

Yep. My great aunt back in 2003. She lived to be 102. I remember President Bush sent her a letter at her birthday.

My grandmother said she lived that long because she never had kids lol.

Yes, my brother's MIL a few years ago. She was sharp as a tack then, but passed away at 103.

My great great Aunt Lena lived to 103. We had a 95th, the 96th, then 97th birthday party for her. skipped all the way to 100 because she was on pace to outlive us. then we celebrated her birthday from 100-103.

Aunt Lena drove until she was 99 years old and only quit because she had to have her leg amputated. She had her other leg amputate a few years later. Until she lost her leg, she would go play piano "for the old folks" at the Retirment home out in Luling. She was a remarkable lady.

Had a great aunt that lived to around 100, not sure of the exact age. She never completed highschool and stopped going around age 16. She decided she wanted to finish and did around the age of 92-94, graduated somewhere around that age. I never knew her that well, but my father and uncles definitely took it hard when she passed away.
